State Farm Neighborhood Assist {Review} #SFNeighborhoodAssist

“I participated in an Influencer Activation for State FarmNeighborhood Assist. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

In the last seven years, we have moved more than eight times. We have met many wonderful people, walked around many lovely neighborhoods, and have enjoyed each place that we have lived. Last year my oldest started kindergarten and since this experience, of sending my daughter to school, I have learned a lot about communities and what makes them thrive.

I have been extremely impressed with our neighborhood and am constantly amazed at the involvement that parents have and the service they give each day.

There are many ways to give back to your community and one of these ways is through State Farm's program, the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program. This program brings individuals and communities together with local non-profits to help build safer and stronger communities.

State Farm Neighborhood Assist invited people to submit a community cause about which they’re passionate about and can rally behind for a chance to win one of 40 $25,000 grants, exclusively through Facebook.

I had the chance to vote for one of these causes, the Young Entrepreneurs here in Illinois, who are looking to help kids stay busy doing something meaningful, rather than being bored and causing trouble.
This is such a great idea and I loved that I was able to vote for this cause. State Farm Neighborhood Assist program would love if you took the time to vote too. By voting you will be helping forty neighborhoods around the US and Canada win a $25,000 grant to better individuals and their communities.

It is super easy to vote, so click on this Contest link: http://st8.fm/wsna and vote now!

  1. This is a really nice post— what a great cause and I’m so glad you shared it. I wonder if I could nominate a dog shelter? I know of a group that spends so much time caring for neglected dogs and find them better homes.

Anyway, I’ll head on out to that website and find more info. Again, thanks for sharing!
