The Goldbergs: The Complete First Season {Review}

Are you a fan of the ‘80s?  The hit television series The Goldbergs is the ultimate '80s family and on September 9th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing THE GOLDBERGS: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON on DVD!  The DVD contains all 23 episodes of the comedic series which focuses on the Goldberg family.  The series documents the family as they deal with the ups and downs of growing up in a multigenerational family in the 1980s.
I had actually never seen any of the episodes before being able to review a copy of this DVD with the first season.  I was definitely intrigued with watching it and am a big fan of the '80s but just did not end of having the time to watch it when it was broadcast.  That's the great thing about TV on DVD!  You get to enjoy entertaining shows when it's convenient for you!  I was happy to be able to watch the first season of The Goldbergs and to enjoy in all of the laughs that so many people have been raving about with the show.  The DVD included tons of great extras as well like five all-new behind-the-scenes featurettes, including a look at creating the first season in “Blast from the Past: Making Season One.”and “Costumes of the '80s: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” which takes fans on a tour of the wardrobe department where costume designer Keri Smith reveals details on dressing a show set in the ‘80s.
The Goldbergs has a great ensemble of actors in their cast!  Each person brings a great dynamic to the show with their character.  The cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Sean Giambrone (“Clarence”), Troy Gentile (Good Luck Chuck), Hayley Orrantia (“The X Factor”), George Segal (“Just Shoot Me!”) and Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) and is narrated by Patton Oswalt (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”).
So if you haven't been able to catch the show like me, now is your chance to get it on the action and get  “THE GOLDBERGS: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON” on DVD September 9th!!
A big THANK YOU to Sony for providing me with a free DVD to review.  I was not compensated for this review. I receive product(s) for free so that I can provide my insight and experience. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may vary.
