Tactic Games {Review & Giveaway} (closed)

Need some help entertaining your kids through summer school break?  Why not try some games?  Tactic Games has a great selection of high-quality games, puzzles, and playing cards to keep your family entertained all summer long!
Summer is great but because we happen to live where it gets really really hot during the day, we tend to spend a lot of our afternoons inside away from the overpowering sun.  It's hard because we all tend to get a little "cabin fever" from being indoors.  Nevertheless, I am always looking for ways to keep them happy and entertained.  Luckily Tactic games sent us a few games to play which we have had tons of fun playing.  We received Draw Out Junior and Family Alias--two of their very popular games.
Draw Out Junior is the kids version of one of their most popular games Draw Out.  In this game you have to use your artistic skills to draw words and get your team to guess them.  There are over 600 different words in three different question categories: Objects, Animals & Nature, and Names & Characters.  The game is great with helping kids improve their artistic skills and team work.  We loved that the game also included an illustrated word option on the cards for the younger kids which helped our smaller children.  However my favorite part of this game has been watching my kids laugh and enjoy each other as they try and figure out each other's drawings.  I was so impressed by how supportive and uplifting to each other they were especially when a word wasn't guessed right and the drawings were a little hard to decipher.
The second game we got was Family Alias--another fun teamwork building game!  In this game everyone took turns explaining words hints.  You could not say the actual word but instead had to get creative using synonyms, opposites, and other clues. You use the spinner arrow to determine who will be guessing the word.  And for each correctly guessed word, the explainer and the guessing player get to move forward on the game board.  However, because my kids are a little younger, we ended up letting everyone guess and whoever got it got to move forward along with the person explaining the word.  This made things move a lot smoother for us.
Overall our family has had a blast playing the Tactic games we got.  We can't wait to try out more from their amazing selection!
Be sure to visit the Tactic Games website to check out their games and enjoy a happy family!
