Summer makes me feel so alive. The fresh air and the constant sunshine is definitely a mood booster and makes me want to keep my body in shape and healthy as well. One way that my family likes to stay healthy is that we make yummy shakes.
We have been making shakes for some time now and it still surprises me when my kids drink their entire shake, then come back asking for more. Just last night I made one with kale, a large carrot, half a cucumber, chia seeds, a banana (for sweetness), parsley, lemon juice and filtered water. I know what you are thinking… but, it was actually pretty good and very refreshing!
