Playing with my kids is so much fun, especially when we have interactive educational products to play with! My kids go crazy when I tell them that it's puzzle or game time!
One company I have fallen in love with is The Learning Journey International. I've seen their products in many stores and am always drawn to them because of the educational factor to each game and toy. They really have the best selection of puzzles and games for my kids to enjoy.
About The Learning Journey:
"The Learning Journey has been designing and manufacturing an exclusive line of award-winning children's interactive educational products. All products at The Learning Journey encourage learning and develop confidence as they enhance a child's potential. All products build on the skills necessary for children to be prepared for school and beyond."
My kids were extremely excited when they received three products from The Learning Journey to try out! They received the Learn With Me - Color Fun Fish Bowl, My First Match It! Dinosaur Friends and My First Match It! All My Toys.
The Learn With Me - Color Fun Fish Bowl has definitely been a hit! Similiar to the Counting Cookie Jar, the fish bowl is all about learning colors. It has 2 play modes, 10 colored fish, a repeat button and an on/off switch. I think the see thru bowl is very adorable because while you put the fish in the bowl you can see them all "swimming" around!
Since playing with the fish bowl, I've noticed a significant change in my boy from the first time we played with it. At first he didn't understand what he was doing, but the repetitiveness has reinforced his listening skills and now when he hears the colors he understands that he needs to pick the right color. He may not get it right every time, but that would defeat the purpose of the product, to teach children their colors. One day he'll master them and the toy will be passed onto his little baby sister!
My First Match It! Dinosaur Friends and My First Match It! All My Toys puzzles. These too have been so wonderful to have. Not only are these absolutely perfect for my 2-year-old but my girls have fun doing them too. They love helping their brother and he loves it too, so it's a win, win!
