2013 Holiday Gift Guide: Wonder Forge (Review & Giveaway)

When I ask my kids what they want to do tomorrow, they almost always say play games and do crafts! They love games, not only because they are fun, but because they get to spend quality time with their family! There is something very special about playing games together as a family and Wonder Forge makes this possible with their top-quality games.

"Today Wonder Forge makes over 85 games that have won more than 140 of the industry’s top awards for product excellence. They are sold nationwide and in over 11 countries."
We were lucky enough to receive two extremely fun games from Wonder Forge, Disney Eye Found It! Game and Disney Sofia the First Magical Tea Time Game.
Sofia the First Magical Tea Time Game is perfect for any little princess. My girls love to have real tea parties, so they were heaven to play a tea party game!
This game comes with: 1 Game Board, 4 Place Settings, 3 Fairy Headmistresses Plates, 36 Treat Tiles, 1 Puffer Teapot, 4 Teacups, 1 Game Rules Manual.

Everyone gets a place setting and a tea cup, then on your turn you turn over the treats in the middle of the table and depending on what is on the back, you follow the rules.
When you choose a green, blue or pink treat, you place it on the matching Fairy Headmistress Plate. Then when you blow on your hot tea, or pour your tea, the colors change and depending on the color of your tea, you get to collect the treats on the matching Fairy Headmistress Plate.

There are also three Good Manners treats. If you are caught with good manners (saying please and thank you), you get more treats! When all the treats are gone, whoever has the most treats on their plate wins!
The second game we received is Disney's Eye Found It! My kids are obsessed with Disney, even my 22 month old boy gets all excited when he sees Mickey and Minnie!
This game comes with: 1 Six-foot Game Board in three sections, 6 Movers, 6 Mover Bases, 1 Spinner, 12 Mickey Mouse Ear Tokens, 30 Search Cards, 1 Sand Timer and 1 Game Rules Manual.
This game is a great family game because everyone works together to beat the clock. The objective is for all players to get to Cinderella's Castle before it strikes midnight.
The six-foot game board is so much fun! It's a great way to come together as a family as we enjoyed gathering around on the floor to play!
On your turn, you spin the spinner, then you follow the directions of the spinner. When you land on the search, you choose a card and everyone looks for the what is on the card. You place the Mickey ears on the pictures, then you count up all the pictures and everyone gets to move that many spaces! On one turn I got bears and was a amazed at how difficult it was to find them! We had a blast!

If you spin the spinner and land on the clock you then turn the clock 1 or 2 hours forward, depending on which one you land on. Then there are regular numbers where you get to move the number of spaces indicated.

We absolutely loved playing this game and would definitely recommend it to any family that enjoys a fun game!
