2013 Holiday Gift Guide: The Lone Ranger REVIEW

Disney movies make great gifts for the holidays!  Disney makes wonderful wholesome movies for both children and adults to enjoy.  My husband and I always love stuffing our kids' stockings with the latest and greatest movies from Disney.  But this year with Disney is letting you add The Lone Ranger to your older loved ones stocking with it's upcoming release on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, and On-Demand tomorrow December 17th!
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in The Lone Ranger, from Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Director Gore Verbinski. It’s a wild ride of high velocity action, explosions and gunfights that brings the famed masked legend to life through brand-new eyes. The Lone Ranger (Hammer), the last of his kind, teams with Tonto (Depp), a dark and mysterious vigilante, to seek vengeance after justice has failed them. It’s a runaway train of epic surprises, as these two unlikely heroes must learn to work together before the ultimate showdown between good and evil explodes.
This film got a lot of buzz where I live in New Mexico because a lot of it was filmed here.  I really wanted to see the movie but unfortunately didn't get the chance to catch it in the theater.  I was super excited to be able to review it and have a great date night with my hubby to watch it.  We both really enjoyed the movie.  Johnny Depp is such a wonderful actor and has the ability to play a character so perfectly.  His character was definitely my favorite and I found myself laughing at his quirky humor and actions.  The Lone Ranger did an excellent job at portraying a dramatic story plot with lots of action-packed scenes and comedic breaks throughout.  We've watched it more than once since we got it and will be watching this classic western tale for many years to come I'm sure.

Make sure you check your local retail shelves for The Lone Ranger being released tomorrow!
And why not add it to the stocking of a spouse, teenager, parent, or friend?
A big THANK YOU to Disney for providing me with a free Lone Ranger combo pack to review.  I was not compensated for this review. I receive product(s) for free so that I can provide my insight and experience. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may vary.
