2013 Holiday Gift Guide: Fairy Tale High REVIEW

I'll be the first to admit that it can be hard staying up to date on the latest kid trends.  I'm pretty sure every other week my oldest daughter comes home from school to tell me about some new toy or fad happening.  Nonetheless, I find it fun and interesting finding out about cool new products and trends with my kids.
Fairy Tale High is one of the latest and greatest to hit the kid scene.  A fresh and fun new spin to classic fairy tale characters, Fairy Tale High is set in a modern-day high school setting and features the lives of teenage Snow White, Rapunzel, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Tinker Bell and Cinderella before they became fairy tale princesses.  They get to sport the latest accessories, fashions, and styles as we explore their lives through their webisodes and eBooks.  Each character gets to showcase their story and reveal qualities which will eventually help transform them into the princesses they were destined to be.
As students in a performing arts high school, these hip and trendy teenage characters develop their talents and learn new ones as they study music, dance, art, and acting while dealing with romances, jealousies and personal challenges along the way. With guest appearances by classic heroines and villains like Victoria, the Wicked Witch of the West; Pinocchio, who cannot tell a truth; and many others, Fairy Tale High is for the princess-loving girl who is looking for one she can relate to.
My daughter received two of the Fairy Tale High Dolls--Cinderella and Rapunzel.  It was cute seeing the beloved fairy tale characters in such a new light.  Their teenage look and trendy styles are so fun.  My daughter, who loves to sing and dance to music, was especially smitten with Cinderella who comes with her own MP3 player and headphones.  I think she instantly bonded with Cinderella's story and her love for music.  We also noticed that the dolls have fully articulated bodies which allow you to pose and move them in a variety of ways.  And of course, we went online to the Fairy Tale High website to watch the cute webisodes to get a better look into the lives of the characters.  My daughter was thrilled to see how much she had in common with the dolls she received as they both have a love for dancing and singing just like her!  We can't wait to see what is next from Fairy Tale High!
Fairy Tale High Dolls are available nationwide at all Toys R Us stores, select Walmart stores and in November on QVC.  You can also find them online retailers at Amazon.com, ToysRUs.com, Target.com, Kmart.com & WalMart.com
You can also stay connected with Fairy Tale High through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube
A big THANK YOU to Fairy Tale High for providing me with two free dolls to review.  I was not compensated for this review. I receive product(s) for free so that I can provide my insight and experience. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may vary.
