Salba Chia: School’s In! Chia Seeds for Kids (Giveaway)

Last winter was extremely bad for our family when it came to getting sick. It seemed like every other week one of us was ill and had to miss out on an activity of some sort. This year, I am trying to do everything I can to prepare our family for the change of weather and illnesses that seem to unfortunately come with it.

As I plan ahead and try and get our bodies' immune systems strong so we can fight off the coming colds and flu, chia seeds are a great way to boost your immune system. Salba Chia Seeds are full of Omega-3s, antioxidants, calcium, fiber, iron, and the lists goes on and on! And better yet, they are easy to eat because they are so small and don't have much flavor, so you can simply add them to your kids oatmeal, yogurt, cookies, pancakes and pudding. I even sprinkle them on my kids cereal and bake with them a lot.
Salba Chia Gram for Gram provides . . .
325% more fiber than oatmeal
800% more Omega-3 (ALA) than salmon (EPA/DHA)
30% more antioxidants than blueberries (based on ORAC values)
1500% more magnesium than broccoli
200% more potassium than bananas

----- Here are two great recipes that your kids will love! -----
