Simply Hemp Prize Pack (Review & Giveaway)

I feel like these days there is a lot of "garbage" in our food. Even things labeled organic or natural can sometimes be deceiving, so I make sure to always read the label before purchasing food for my family!

And… putting healthy food in my kids' bellies is very important to me, so I have been on a mission to find companies I can trust, and support them by purchasing their food.

One such company that I've pleasantly stumbled across is Simply Hemp. After visiting their site, I fell in love with their product (even before I tasted it!) and had to feature them!
We received four pouches of Simply Hemp Milk and I was very excited to try it! If you are not familiar with Hemp Milk, it's made from Hemp Seeds or "nuts" that have a nutty flavor to them, sort of like sunflower seeds. It's extremely healthy for you because it is rich in omega fatty acids, and is a great milk substitute, especially if you have kids who are allergic to dairy.
Each pouch makes 2 quarts of milk, and it is super easy to make, even my kids were able to help out. All you do is mix one scoop with 8oz. of water and blend it in your blender for about a minute and voila!
The nutty flavor, along with the slightest coconut, vanilla and cinnamon flavor made for a very enjoyable drink during the week. We loved using Simply Hemp's hemp milk on our cereal, oatmeal, smoothies, and pretty much on whatever we would have normally have used almond milk. What I love about drinking Hemp Milk than other milk alternatives is the great health benefit that comes from it. Simply Hemp is 100% organic and it really makes my skin and overall body feel good after drinking it!
My girls were very excited to help out with making it and said it was delicious!
My youngest daughter, even had a Hemp Stash when she was done!

About Simply Hemp:
"My name is Seth, and I recently made a documentary called Average Joe on the Raw. In this film, I transformed my life by going from a typical Standard America Diet (SAD) to 60 days of fully vegan, fully raw.

During this journey, one thing I struggled with was finding a good non dairy substitute. The stuff I bought at the stores (almond milk, soy milk, and even the hemp milk) was better for me than the cows milk, but it wasn't where I wanted to be. Because of the additives and fillers and preservatives that are in all other store bought milks, I began making my own hemp milk. It took me months and months to come up with the perfect recipe, but once I did, I was super excited! I began sharing this milk with my friends, my family and anyone who would listen.

Before long, I was making the hemp milk every day for friends and family, then I decided to put a name to it and get it out there to the public. The name came easy because what I am most proud about is the fact that there are no additives, no preservatives, no garbage, its SImply Hemp Milk!

I created the company with the help of every member of my family, and this is truly a "family business". We would love for you to try the hemp milk and by doing so, become a member of the Simply Hemp family as well."

  1. This sounds fast and easy. I have been making my own almond milk lately but there is a lot of soaking involved etc. Would love to try this out.

  4. I like that it is truly organic and still retains vitamins you would need. With a lactose intolerant toddler in our home this would be good to try to see if he likes it!
