Baby food pouches are all the rage! They are convenient, easy, and a great way for babies to feed themselves. The first time my daughter tried a food pouch, she was hooked. In fact, I could barely get her to eat any other way! Now that she's a little older she eats a variety of foods, but still loves her food pouches. Heck, all of my kids love those applesauce and fruit pouches! The only draw back to those awesome pouches is that their uncomfortable hard plastic straw tops can be quite troublesome at times. Some babies can have trouble feeding directly from the pouches and even worse, their hard, sharp edges can cause gum irritation and even bleeding.
While convenient, the pouch is not optimal on its own as a safe and soothing way for a baby to self-feed. That is why father of three, Brad came up with the PouchPop!
PouchPop is a baby food pouch topper made of soft, flexible hospital grade silicone which eliminates the “ouch points”, promotes self-feeding, and is pediatrician recommended!! The special topper tailors pouch feeding to infants (especially for those without teeth) and toddlers. “The PouchPop design is an excellent and safe solution to provide soft pureed foods to infants and toddlers in a much more intuitive and interactive way than the current pouch product design.” - Dr. Jae Kim, M.D., Ph.D., UCSD Medical Center
I had the opportunity to try out the PouchPop with my daughter on all of the pouch food products she loves. She instantly took to the PouchPop toppers and really enjoyed using them...so much so that she insisted on using them with every food pouch product we had. I like that they are super easy to clean--I just place them in the little covered basket compartment in our dishwasher for a wash, and they come out perfectly clean!
PouchPop is giving one lucky reader A POUCHPOP PACK which includes 4 assorted PouchPops in different colors!!
