If you are like me and have found yourself thinking, "I need to eat better," but don't know where to begin… let me tell you this book has changed my life!

I know too many people who are tired all the time, have chronic health problems, or have died from or are currently battling cancer. It really saddens me to see close friends and family members suffer from such tragic events and this is why I have become so driven to change the way I eat.
I have had this book for a few months now and the transformation it has had on my life has been incredible. It has made a huge difference to the way I think about my body and the food I put in it. It is my food bible and I literally use it for everything. My pantry in my house now has less "fake food" and more "real food" in it! But, this was not an over night project. This is something that has taken lots of time and patience because it can simply get way too overwhelming to do it all at once. It is a lifestyle change and Clean Cuisine helps you with their awesome 8-week anti-inflammatory nutrition program.

"What is real food? Real food is nutrient-dense whole food found in its most natural and unrefined state. 

Clean Cuisine’s clean eating diet is an anti-inflammatory diet based on unrefined foods packaged in their most natural and nutrient-rich state. This means you want to choose whole foods that are unadulterated…just the way nature intended. You want to go for corn instead of corn flakes or steel cut oats instead of a granola bar that is “made with oats” (but also made with a bunch of junk like high fructose corn syrup, processed corn oil, etc.)

Clean Cuisine’s anti-inflammatory diet also places a heavy emphasis on plant-based nutrition. Although you can still enjoy modest amounts of high-quality animal foods (such as grass-fed beef or pastured eggs), the bulk of your calories should come from phytonutrient-rich plant-based unrefined foods (lots of vegetables, fruits, unrefined whole grains, beans, seeds, nuts, legumes, etc.) Seafood is encouraged on the Clean Cuisine anti-inflammatory diet because it is so rich in anti-inflammatory and metabolism-supporting omega-3 essential fats."

There are over 100 recipes in this book and we've made a lot of them and have loved each and every one of them. They are full of flavor and make you feel good. My favorite treat are these Chia and Chocolate Cookies, they are delicious and healthy!

I made this soup the other night and my kids loved it! I will be making this again!
