I love hip hop dance.  I was always one to get on the dance floor and bust my moves when I was growing up.  And then, when I was in high school I started taking a hip hop dance classes to get as much hip hop dancing as I could in my weekly schedule.  I loved it.  I loved going to dance competitions, learning new dance skills, and taking my hip hop dancing to greater levels.  As a mom, I don't really get many opportunities to explore that passion any more.  Gone are the days of dances, gone is my dancer body, and the only time you can see me bust any moves is during our random family dance parties that the kids and I have inside our home.  With The Hip Hop Dance Experience game from Ubisoft, I can once again connect to my inner dancer and continue to do something I've always enjoyed right from the comfort of my own home.

The Hip Hop Dance Experience is chalk full of the coolest music from chart-topping artists in the hip hop genre.  From Nicki Minaj to Flo Rida, Rihanna, and more--the songs are awesome and the choreography is just as fun.  With moves developed by celebrity choreographers Laurieann Gibson (Nicki Minaj Creative Director, BET’s Born to Dance) and Dave Scott (So You Think You Can Dance, Battle of the Year), now you can dance like a true artist to 30 years’ worth of hip-hop’s biggest hits.  There are three different dance difficulty levels for each song so you can take things slow and progress to harder moves.  You also have the option of dancing by yourself or partying up with others and battling it out.  For me, even with my dance background--I find some of the dances super challenging and am loving that.  I am almost using the game as a way to exercise because man does it get your heart pumping and your body working!  All in all, it's just an all around good time.  A energy-filled game with lots to do, lots of fun, and lots of moves to learn.  I liked it a lot.
