I'm So Glad! Review & GIVEAWAY (closed)

Get ready because Alex & The Kaleidoscope Band has come out with another great children's album, I'm So Glad. The band's fourth release, I'm So Glad has already won a 2012 Parents' Choice Approved Award and a Tillywig Toy "Best Family Fun" Award. The song "Kangaroo!" was an Independent Music Awards "Best Song for Children" winner as well.
My children and I got to review a copy of the album and I can see why it won so many great awards.  The smooth voice of Alex and and funky music from his band really help to deliver this all out fun CD!  With an array of strong rhythms and catchy melodies, the album works it's way into your system until you are filled with musical goodness.  From rock to folk/pop and reggae as well, I'm So Glad has a fun mix of songs for everyone!  The lyrics contain insight and entertainment, so you can learn while having fun.
Alex says, “As much as I love performing, I also enjoy speaking and writing about music and music education as it relates to child development. I take great joy in teaching and making music with kids. Teaching allows me to not only satisfy my passion for music, but also to satisfy another passion: to help create positive change in the world around me. What better way to ensure a bright future than to work with those who are closest to tomorrow — children!"

  1. From the website: "The lyrics are life lessons, beautiful stories, teachings, exploration of emotions, revealed through incredibly moving music that captivates audiences of every age" I can imagine my daughter requesting to listen to this to facilitate her crazy dance moves! I would be happy with any CD that has such an eclectic mix of styles and beats to keep the whole family interested.
