This morning when I woke up there was a foot of snow on the ground! The whole world was white and so beautiful. Then I opened the front door and their was a package on the door mat! It was a little Christmas miracle - snow and a present!
The package was from Tropical Traditions, they are the first company that has donated to our project. Since Tropical Traditions only has the highest quality products, I am VERY excited to be able to include their products in the project.
They sent a variety of their All Natural Deodorants, and Tooth Cleansers. We are so grateful for Tropical Traditions generous donation and could not complete our project without FANTASTIC companies like theirs!
We would also like to publicly thank everyone who has donated so generously. I can't believe that in only a few days we have raised almost a third of what we need to complete the project! I have been overwhelmed and grateful for the amazing response we have had from all of you.
I just wanted to make one thing clear, because a couple people have asked, 100% of the donations are going to the project and are going to be used to the greatest capacity to make a difference in these kids lives.
Stay tuned there will be a beautiful story shared tomorrow morning, written by Shaina Leavitt (Director of Painting for Poverty), about a girl named Rachel Nikiatu and her journey to getting an education.
