Take It From Me: Sports Illustrated Kids SportsParent of the Year

September 7, 2012

Sports Illustrated Kids SportsParent of the Year

For the first time ever Sports Illustrated Kids is is naming a “SportsParent of the Year” to honor a parent who uses sports to support their family and community, not scores and trophies.  The magazine wants to credit those parents who exemplify their shared values and love for sports, fun, dedication, healthy living, and the value of community and team.
If you know a parent who embodies the essence of sportsmanship and is a true example to children, nominate them for the Sports Parent of the Year award!
The 2012 Grand Prize Winner will not only walk away with a prestigious award, but will also receive a $1,000 gift card to support his/her child’s or community team’s sports needs and may also be featured in an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated Kids magazine and/or on SIKids.com.
Deadline for contest entries end 9/24.

  1. I'm amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that's
equally educative and interesting, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is something which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I'm very happy I came across this in my search for
    something concerning this.
