Pinterest For Dummies Review & GIVEAWAY (closed)

Have you joined the latest craze with Pinterest yet?  What are you waiting for?  Pinterest is a visual collection of bookmarks that you organize into virtual pinboards.  If you see something on a blog, your favorite retailer's website, or even something that you take a picture of with your smartphone or camera, you can pin it to one of your Pinterest boards for future reference.  Pinterest is also a social network as well.  You can follow other users and be followed by others.  You can repin something another user has pinned, or you can like it or comment on it.

I have to admit that ever since I found Pinterest, I have been OBSESSED!!  I absolutely love finding cool fashion ideas, hair tips, educational resources, decorating ideas, crafts, recipes, and more.  It is seriously the most fun I've had in a long time.  My friends and I have parties just so we can do some of the things we've pinned on Pinterest.
If you haven't ever tried Pinterest or even if you have, the book Pinterest For Dummies is a great resource for learning the ins and outs of the site and helps you to really utilize Pinterest in a variety of ways.
I actually had the chance to read Pinterest For Dummies and even though I have been using Pinterest for a while, I was amazed at some of the ettiquet, tools, tips and more useful things that I found in the book.  Shortcuts, things that help to organize my boards better, and other great things!  Since reading the book I feel a lot more confident using Pinterest and have looked back at the book several times for reference.  The book was a great read, wasn't overwhelming, very easy to follow, and had lots of fun things to check out in it!
The book covers:
- What Pinterest is about and why you should use it
- Information on setting up an account
- Setting up boards and getting organized
- Pinning, re-pinning, and giving credit where credit is due
- Using hashtags, liking pins, commenting, finding people to follow, checking out Tastemakers, sharing pins with your other social networksm and using search
- Along with much more!

  2. I have no idea what the heck Pinterest is! Everyone I know wants me to get involved, but I just don't get it. The book would obviously help :) I'd like to get involved, help promote my blog, and just have fun on the site.
