Super Duper Publications Educational Games (Review & Giveaway)

"Sharon and Thomas Webber founded Super Duper® Publications in 1986 with two products and two types of stickers.
Sharon started creating easy-to-use therapy materials while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools. Thomas was a practicing attorney before focusing his talents on developing therapy materials also. Fast forward 25 years - today, we're making hundreds of creative, colorful educational and therapy materials that you and your children will love. (Believe it or not, we have as much fun making them as your kids will have learning with them!)"

I am very excited to have the opportunity to feature Super Duper Publications products on our blog again! I love all of their fun learning materials and have enjoyed using them with my kids! My daughter had the opportunity to review two of their newest software products and she has really enjoyed them!
The first game that we got to review was the Funzee Everyday Sounds Software. My daughter thought this game was very cool and really enjoyed identifying the sounds through each interactive game. It has different setting options, so you can change the way you play every time! Another thing I really like about this software is the track data.  I can see the progress my daughter is making and can switch the settings when she needs it.
Settings options for Funzee™ Everyday Sounds!
  1. Selecting a game to play
    • Match SOUND to PHOTO & SOUND
    • Match PHOTO & SOUND to SOUND
    • Match SOUND to SOUND
    • Match PHOTO to SOUND
    • Match SOUND to PHOTO
  2. Choose the level of difficulty. Sounds in Level 1 are the easiest, sounds in Level 2 are more difficult, and sounds in Level 3 are the most difficult. You can also select “All Levels” to create boards from the entire collection of photos and sounds.
  3. Choose the number of squares on your board in the Choose Board Type section. Select from a 2 x 2 (4 items) up to a 6 x 6 (36 items) board.
  4. Next choose one of three ways to win the game. Students can make a square out of four adjacent images, they can cover a row of images (bingo), or they can cover every image on the board (lotto).
  5. Click “Play Game” to begin the game with your selected settings.
If you are a teacher, Funzee Everyday Sounds would be a great addition to the classroom. Teachers can build their own lotto and bingo boards extremely fast and you can monitor individual students while they are playing.
The second game we reviewed was the Funzee Everyday Go-Togethers. My daughter was already a little familiar with some of the photos from reviewing the anytime Go-Togethers Super Photo Fun Deck, so having it on the computer was very exciting for her.

Her favorite game is the matching game. When you click on a square it turns over, revealing a picture. You keep playing until you have found all the matching pairs (e.g., dog/bone).
