It's Week #7 on the Nutrisystem program, and I have found myself slacking a little.
When I'm really good at sticking to the Nutrisystem food and doing my three daily active sessions, I feel great and the weight continues to come off. But lately, there have been so many occasions where I have been cheating or have excuses to not exercise, and such. Even though I am not putting the weight back on--WHICH IS FANTASTIC, I'm not continueing to loose the weight like I was. So, what do you do when you get stuck in a rut? Get creative and change things up!!
Even though I found a good routine, I think I was getting bored of it and therefore not doing it as much. Motivation is often said to be the key to staying true to a program. But, how do you keep your motivation going? I am constantly striving to find things that "work for me," that keep me interested, and that I enjoy doing. I have been trying to get more creative with at-home workouts, finding ways to get out of the house and do active, fun things with the family, and trying some new healthy carbs, veggies, fruits, etc. to bring excitement to my eating. I've also made some new goals that I'm determined to reach as well!
Overall, I still very much love the Nutrisystem Program and know that if I just kick things up a notch, get the excitement back, that I can reach my goal weight--the ultimate prize!!
