Listening Lounge: Hope Harris' Cousins Jamboree Album Review

Are you in the mood for some fun-loving, rockin’ songs to dance to with the kids? Well try poppin’ in the new Hope Harris CD Cousins Jamboree!
Coincidentally my kids have actually been playing with a lot of their cousins because of a big family reunion we had, but in actuality this CD is just an all-around fun album for kids to jam out to with ANYONE and at ANYTIME! The Cousins Jamboree CD is all about good-times, enjoyable songs, and lots of entertainment!
Already winning a 2011 Parents’ Choice Silver Honor Award for the Cousins Jamboree CD, independent children’s musician Hope Harris has her eyes set on sharing her music with the world and who would blame her. To me, her music is great at showcasing a variety of music types such as rock & roll, jazz, country, blues, and more! Her original arrangements are whimsical, full of imagination, and lots of warmth! I also like the messages in her songs that remind and teach children about being kind to one another, having good manners, and looking out for friends (just to name a few).
The Cousins Jamboree album is an energetic CD that will get your kids smiling, laughing, and dancing! Some of me and my children’s favorite selections from the CD included: Five Little Monkeys, Seatbelt Buckled, A Little Bit Afraid, and I Can Do It.
Cousins Jamboree is available online at www.hopeharris.com, amazon.com, and cdbaby.com, as well as at Franklin Goose in Richmond, Virginia.
