Baby Bash: Barefoot Books Review & GIVEAWAY (closed)

Reading books to your children and babies is a great way to promote healthy development! Barefoot Books has a great selection of unique and special books perfect for your little ones!
I love that Barefoot Books started when two mothers wished for their children to have imaginative books which expressed a respect for diversity and a love of the planet. Their books aim to explore our world and the world of make-believe. Their books also use “the power of stories to nourish the creative spark in everyone and strengthen connections with family, the global community, and the earth.”
I was so thrilled when Barefoot Books offered to send me a selection of their most popular baby books for our Baby Bash Event! Here is what I got:
(Description from website): Capture the precious memories of your baby's first year in this spiral and cloth bound journal. With special sections for your baby's "firsts" and favorites, photographs, captions and more, all the important moments will be saved for years to come. Includes six colorful pockets for holding mementos and keepsakes.
With each of my kids I have bought them a journal-type baby book. I just love having written memories of their womb time, birth, and growth all in one place! It is so much fun looking back on all of the special moments with each child and also seeing the differences between our kids. I thought this particular journal was super cute and creative! It had some unique things that my other baby journals did not have and I really loved the cute pockets in the book to store keepsakes in!
(Description from website): Small children love to act out simple rhymes! This collection features classic favorites like Incy Wincy Spider, Pat-a-Cake and One Potato, Two Potato in a sturdy board book format that is ideal for sharing with babies and toddlers.
This was such a great interactive book! The rhymes are great for stimulating young minds and the action parts are terrific for toddlers! My daughter and I had a great time acting out the rhymes with the directions in the book and there were lots of rhymes that I had never heard before, which was both fun and interesting!
(Description from website): Featuring seven classic nursery favorites like Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo Peep and Hey Diddle Diddle, this sturdy board book format is ideal for sharing with babies and toddlers.
I love nursery rhymes and thought this was such a cute little book! It had pretty much all of my favorite nursery rhymes in the book and I loved the artistic illustrations that depicted each rhyme! One thing I also liked was the size of the book. It is not too big and not too small—perfect for taking with you on-the-go and for at home story time as well!
(Description from website): Act out each of the imaginative selections in this hand-sewn anthology. The forty rhymes and games encourage active play and participation with step-by-step instructions to follow. Book with CD edition includes songs and rhymes performed by Susan Reed.
This last book was great because along with the book came an entertaining CD. It basically combined everything we loved with the other rhyming books and more! It had tons of cute rhymes, interactive movements, and amusing songs!
