Baby Bash: First Years GumDrop Pacifiers Review & GIVEAWAY (closed)

The First Years is an amazing company known for their high quality baby products and we are so happy to have them featured in our Baby Bash Event! They have just introduced their new GumDrop Pacifiers, the newest design in one-piece pacifiers with the same nipple shape as the ever-so-popular Soothie pacifiers!
Improving on the Soothie pacifier design, The First Years GumDrop pacifiers are uniquely contoured to fit baby’s face, and not touch baby’s nose. Although many parents and babies loved the original Soothies, this was always something that many found to get in the way and was problematic. Having the area around the baby’s nose free and clear is such a wonderful feature utilized by the new GumDrop Pacifiers! The GumDrop Pacifiers are available in two sizes, newborn (0 to 3 months) and infant (3+ months). They also come in five bright and playful colors- green, blue, orange, pink and purple.
I had a chance to receive some GumDrop pacifiers and really love their design! I can really see a difference in the size of the Soothie pacifiers and the GumDrop pacifiers. I really like the smaller size of the GumDrop pacifiers and how well they complement a baby’s face. The lightweight construction and low profile of the pacifiers also make them very baby-friendly! Babies have a very easy time holding them in their tiny hands.
Another big perk is they are made from BPA-FREE, safe silicone and come as one piece. I absolutely cringe when I see gunk stuck inside the pacifiers made of plastic and silicone or rubber. Lots of times they get liquid or other stuff stuck inside the nipple from where the plastic and the nipple attach. It’s disgusting! With the GumDrop pacifiers, you do not need to worry about any of those problems. In fact, the pacifiers are actually very easy to wash, clean, and steralize!
Along with the GumDrop Pacifiers, I also got a cute polka dot Pacifier Attacher from The First Years to try out. It was so easy to attach the cord through the GumDrop pacifier handle hole. This specific pacifier attacher from The First Years has a very strong clasp that won’t pull off, but that is also gentle on clothing. Having a Pacifier Attacher is great because it keeps your pacifiers clean from harmful germs and always has them stay handy for use.
Speaking of cleaning pacifiers… the last thing I also got from The First Years was one of their Pacifier Cases. The case fits 2 pacifiers, has a handle that can attach to your diaper bag, stroller, & more, and contains a 30 pack of handy wipes, which can be used to clean your pacifiers while on-the-go.
As you can tell, The First Years has you covered when it comes to pacifiers!  Check out this awesome video to see what moms are saying about the new GumDrop Pacifiers!

  12. I was unable to watch the video but it really impresses me that they made their pacifiers so that they would not obstruct the baby's nose. I know that was always the problem with my cousin.

  19. So, my S-I-L just recommended this blog to me and I love it! I will definitely follow it in the future. My favorite part is that there is no connection between silicone/plastic to get that nasty gunk in. That grosses me out too!
