ThinkFun Snack Attack! Review & GIVEAWAY (closed)

ThinkFun games will “Ignite Your Mind” (as their mission states)! They have tons of games for people of all ages who want to challenge their mind and sharpen their skills! Their games are known to “build reasoning and creative thinking skills through play.” What more could you ask for?
I’m pretty sure most of you are aware of my love for games, so when I had the opportunity to review one of ThinkFun’s newest games--Snack Attack! with my kids, I instantly was drawn in.  Snack Attack! is from ThinkFun’s Jr line geared towards younger children, which I think is great because I am a huge advocate for fun and interactive games that challenge the mind of a child and promote healthy growth and development. The Snack Attack! game does just that as its fast-paced action includes matching, visual recognition, memory skills, concentration, involves the use of fine motor skills, and lets children have an enjoyable time while challenging their minds!
We had such an exciting time playing Snack Attack! with our daughter! Setting up was super easy and learning how to play was not complicated at all and completely understandable for a young child such as my daughter. There are “snack plates” which have 2 sides to them--one easy side and the other a little more challenging—which have pictures of various snacks on them. The game also includes a Spinner Platter with Snack Tokens hidden inside the handle. Whoever the designated “Chef” player is gets to spin the handle which dishes out the tiny snack tokens into various slots on the platter. Each player then has the opportunity to call out any snack tokens that match items on their individual snack plates, grab the token off the big platter, and add it to their plate. When you place the token on your plate, you actually flip the token over and it will reveal a new snack item. This keeps the game moving as you continue to find your matches and add to your token stacked-plates. When all of the snack tokens have been dished out by the Chef, the player with the most snack tokens on their plate wins!
The game is for ages 4 and up, can have anywhere from 2-6 players, includes 1 Snack Attack! Spinner Platter, 66 Double-Sided Snack Tokens, 6 Double-Sided Snack Plates with two levels of play, and a Parent’s Guide. It is a wonderful game that can be enjoyed by the whole family and retails for only $19.99!
If this Snack Attack! game is anything compared to the other games found on ThinkFun’s website, I’m sure they are worth checking out! Word is their Zingo! game is very popular among kids and I have loved reading about all the other games they offer as well!
