Take It From Me: Costume Discounters Review

Costume Discounters Review

I was searching for a cute costume for my daughter and I happened to come across Costume Discounters. They have a ton of really fun costumes at incredibly great prices. Sticking to our pirate theme Halloween, I couldn't pass up this "Too Cute To Spook" Pirate Princess costume!

My daughter is 20 months, but is on the smaller side so I ordered size 12-18 months. It fits her perfectly, making me even more excited for Halloween to come.  Costume Discounters also gives customers the option to write a review.  I read the review posted by another customer who purchased the same outfit for her 20 month daughter. The review helped me finalize what size to purchase!

The Pirate Princess costume comes with a dress with an attached coat and a pirate hat with an attached scarf. This costume is totally cute, and I know that my daughter will stand out from the crowd.
My overall view of the Pirate Princess costume.
The pros to this costume:
1. There is a lot of detail to this costume yet it it only two pieces! The dress is all attached as one, the belt, the shirt/dress, and the jacket are all one.  I don't have to worry about my daughter losing a piece of her costume while trick-or-treating, or having her jacket constantly coming off her shoulder.
2. The gold frills around the edges are stitched right in, so no glue coming off, detaching the frills from the costume.
3. The hat is the icing to the cake. The oh so scary skull , the pretty white lace, and the red velvet scarf makes the costume that much cuter!
The cons to this costume:
1. If I could change one thing, it would be the the plastic belt buckle. The plastic could be a little thicker because it is super cute, and I would hate for it to get ruined because of its flimsiness.  Although it does lesson the weight, which is perfect for my daughter who is quite small.

I love saving money when I can, so when I found out about Costume Discounters I was amazed at how much money I could save.  When I compared their price to the retail price, I was shocked.
